At Liz Lange Consulting, we pride ourselves on doing what we say we’re going to do. We work hard to be honest and direct with our clients while being trustworthy in all that we do and extending that same trust to our clients.
We care about our clients and their missions and seek to be fully present in our work through cultivation of personal and meaningful connections. The same goes for our support of clients and coaching them in connecting with their community and their donors. We don't get paid to care, but we do it anyway.
Let’s be honest, a lot of consultants spend a lot of time talking and not a lot of time working. We value productivity and making a difference for our clients and, for us, these values shine through our actions and shared accountability for doing what needs to be done to accomplish big goals together. We are responsive and responsible, and our results speak for themselves.
We can’t take care of our clients if we don’t take care of ourselves. We work hard, but we also value spending time with family, establishing healthy boundaries, and living an active lifestyle. For the most part, we don’t work at night or on weekends, and we don’t expect you to either (at least not with us!). We plan ahead and complete our tasks well in advance of deadlines to ensure a balanced approach to work and life.
As hard as we may try to be perfect, we are not. And we’re learning perfection is, in fact, an impossible goal. We are human beings and we’re learning – from our success and our mistakes. Because, yes, we make mistakes. That said, we do our best to extend grace to ourselves and our clients as we all navigate and learn from the ups and downs of work and life.
